THE GROUND FLOOR : A FRIENDLY SPACE

This lodging has a really big fireplace
used for over a century for cooking, it's now being here
only for pleasure. At spring or fall when the weather
is still cool, you will be able to spend evenings around
the fireplace. With its lights and sparkles, its warmth,
the fire seems alive and is often called a companion by
french farmers.

a fully equipped kitchen is ready to use with a complete
set of kitchen ustensils ... |

DINING ROOM, WOODWORKS IN CHESTNUT

A dishwasher, a gas cooker with five burners and two ovens,
and a microwave oven as well, complete the kitchen settings
sized up to thirty guests. It's easy and convenient to get dishes
from the kitchen to the dining room by a direct access trough
the kitchen wall. To share a meal, it
feels good to sit, around the solid wooden table, surrounded
by chestnut panelling. Depending on your group's size, you may
use trestles to set a bigger table.
Eating outdoor, underneath the linden tree right in front of
the house, or in the court yard, is a real pleasure too, specially
when you have a barbecue.

A HOUSE DESIGNED FOR GROUPS

You
will find many different places in the house to be together
without having the feeling to be too crowded.
Still on the ground floor, on the back of
the house, the stone vaulted ceiling keeps this small
living area cool even in the summer. You may taste there
a french " aperitif " and you may also plug
in your TV to watch your favorite french programmes.
The wide door close to the parking is very
usefull to unload luggages or groceries from your car.
Conveniently located, on the same level, you
will find a wc in a separate room, a washing machine,
a big freezer, and the central heating facilities.
To be exhaustive about the ground floor, we
have to point out the playroom with bathroom and wc located
in the court yard right near the main entrance. This room
is independant and has an easy access. |
