Our holiday rentals are located in the south of
France, in between the Rhône valley and the high plateau
of the mountainous Ardeche, in the heart of the Natural Regional
country Park " mounts of Ardèche ". In this
beautifull and well preserved nature, you may practice a great
variety of activities : Visits of museums and farms, hikes on
many trails, discovery of market places and the variety and
pleasure of tasty food and wine...
Ardeche is a land, rich in history and traditions, where it
is easy to meet people, and share with them their ancestral
know-how. |

DISCOVERING THE MARKET PLACE IN LE CHEYLARD, EYRIUM SWIMMING
POOL, CASTLE OF LA CHEZE ...

THE
MARKET PLACE SALEON TERRAS :
On wednesday mornings, in downtown Le Cheylard there is a
big market on the square. This is a great place for buying
food, fresh vegetables, tasty fruit, cheeses... You may also
stroll on the different " bistrots " terraces all
around the square and enjoy a drink.
In the old days, the city of Le Cheylard was surrounded
by ramparts, this town of character has kept many narrow and
winding streets they are still the same as in the Middle Ages.
Visiting this small size town is a real pleasure.

THE
EYRIUM
SWIMMING POOL AND PLAYGROUND :
Near the town of Le Cheylard a large outside swimming
pool with waterslides attracts many people in the summer, a
picnic area and many games for kids complete this touristic
place.
The castle La Cheze dominates the old town of Le
Cheylard, it's open to the visit during the summer. A nice wooden
park surrounds the castle. |
MUSEUM ARDELAINE, VERY MUCH ALIVE ....

The
village of Saint Pierreville is in the middle of the old chesnuts
grove, in the village, the museum Ardelaine is open for lively
visits twice daily. The rich story of men and sheep and of
wool will catch kids as well as adults.
We admire the quality of the visits and for many
years we recommend this museum to tourists, so far, they all
have been pleased.
In the store, local quality products made out
of wool are sold, like beautifull blankets, pullovers, jackets...
Profit is far to be the only goal of Ardelaine, but human
and environmental dimensions are a real component of this
enterprise.

THE WATERFALL OF THE RAY PIC :

WATER AND VOLCANO :
To reach the waterfall an easy trail snakes down
the hill to the mountain stream. It's 35 meters above the
final stop that gush forth the water in a white panache. On
the side beautifull basalt rocks shaped as organ pipes seem
to follow the fall of the water.
Like the mountain lake of Issarles, many other
places will delight the lovers of nature and space, no doubt
you will return from Ardeche with the most powerful memories...
As you can see the discovery of our Region has many attractions
: History, culture as well as gastonomy and many activities
like swimming, hiking, biking...
